Modern Slavery Statement

Last updated: 12 September 2026

This statement is made in the spirit of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Citi Guard Services Ltd is below the statutory turnover threshold for a mandatory statement, but the security industry carries recognised risks of labour exploitation and we publish this statement voluntarily to set out the steps we take to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chain.

Our business

We provide manned guarding, mobile patrols, event security, key holding, CCTV monitoring, dog handling and related services across London and the UK. Our workforce is directly employed and, where necessary, supplemented by vetted subcontractors.

Our policies

  • We pay at least the National Living Wage and pay staff directly into their own bank accounts.
  • Every officer is screened to BS 7858, which confirms identity, right to work and employment history, and every licensable role is filled by an SIA licence holder.
  • We never charge workers recruitment fees, retain identity documents or make deductions that would leave pay below the legal minimum.
  • Working hours are monitored through our control room to prevent excessive hours.
  • Our whistleblowing and grievance procedures allow any worker to raise concerns confidentially.

Due diligence in our supply chain

Subcontractors and labour providers must hold an Approved Contractor Scheme accreditation or satisfy us of equivalent standards, confirm compliance with the Modern Slavery Act, and permit audit of their vetting and payroll practices. We do not use unlicensed labour providers.

Training

Managers and supervisors receive training to recognise the indicators of forced labour and trafficking, and on how to report concerns to management, the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority or the police.

Review

This statement is reviewed annually by the Directors. Approved by the Board of Citi Guard Services Ltd.
